Naked and rustic cakes are one of the biggest trends in 2015 and will continue to be a trend for 2016 as well, and also are perfect for less formal weddings and a winner for couples who choose to serve wedding cake as their main dessert.

This style allows for flavour combinations that may not be possible in fondant cakes i.e. fresh fruits, soft fillings, cream cheese and toffee and when taste buds are the number one priority.
