Trending : Jewelled Mehendi

When it comes to Henna Tattoos aka Mehendi - we've noticed that there are definitely 2 types of Brides.
  1. The bride who LOVES traditional mehendi - who thinks of full hands filled with designs of the 'baraat' and various mythical characters.  
  2. The bride who is doing mehendi because it needs to be done and its a part of their respective wedding customs. 
As a planner - I must admit to actually hating putting on mehendi; and when I do - it looks like a tribal tattoo !!  So when the latest trend of styling Mehendi that looks like jewellry - we were jumping with joy ! 

These new mehendi designs are all about imitating the best of Indian jewellery and its intricacies - from haathphools to kadas to matha pattis and chandbalis– these beautiful Indian jewellery pieces are all about keeping it very traditional yet elegant when penned out on the brides hands / feet.

It's no surprises with such funky mehendi designs out there - that we would be seeing brides donning henna tattoos on their backs when sporting a backless outfit.
